S.C. SABON HOLDINGS SRL, a Romanian legal entity with its registered office in Bucharest, registered with the Trade Register under no. J2005007199401, VAT no. RO16222607 (hereinafter referred to as “Sabon” or “we”), having as its main activity the retail sale of cosmetic and perfumery products (CAEN code 4775), is the owner of the content and the operator of the website www.sabon.ro and of the microsites accessed through it (individually referred to as the “Site” and collectively as the “Sites”).
1. Definitions
Site – www.sabon.ro
Company – S.C. SABON HOLDINGS SRL, identified as above, part of the international Rocher Group.
User / Users – Any user(s) who browse(s), read(s), use(s) and/or create(s) an account on the Site and/or subscribe(s) to the Newsletter.
Contract – The contract concluded between the User and the Company, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Associated Partners – Service providers responsible for the development and maintenance of the website, declared as associated partners of the Company within the meaning of European Regulations. Their contractual purpose is directly related to the fulfillment of the Company’s obligations toward users regarding the provision of services on the Site.
Associated Partners are responsible for complying with personal data protection obligations for the data they access or receive from the Company.
Personal Data – Any information relating to the User that allows direct or indirect identification, including but not limited to first and last name, gender, date of birth, email address, mobile phone number, etc., provided by the User for purchasing products and services, promotional campaigns or sweepstakes, newsletter subscription, submitting opinions or suggestions, publishing materials, or for any other purpose.
Consent for the Processing of Personal Data – Any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which they accept, through a statement or a clear affirmative action, the processing of personal data relating to them.
Data Protection Officer (DPO) – The Company appoints a person responsible for informing and advising the operator or the processor and employees involved in processing activities regarding their obligations under the law, monitoring compliance with data protection legislation and policies, cooperating with the supervisory authority, and acting as a contact point for matters related to processing.

Accessing the Site – Users may access the Site by visiting www.sabon.ro.
Conclusion of the Contract – Accessing and using the Site constitutes the User’s express and unequivocal consent to concluding the Contract, which includes these Terms and Conditions.
The contract between the Company and the User who wishes to create an account on the Site is concluded only if all the following steps are completed:
a) The User accesses www.sabon.ro
b) The User carefully reads these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy available at: https://www.sabon.ro/ro/customer-care/politica-confidentialitate
c) By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the User understands that any prior or simultaneous agreements relating to these Terms and Conditions are replaced by this document.
These Terms and Conditions do not create rights for third parties.
Duration and Termination of the Contract – The Contract is concluded for an indefinite period.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all clauses herein, including any limitations and special conditions applicable to certain services or loyalty programs.
2. Conditions of Use
To use the Site, Users must be at least 16 years old and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Visiting and using the Site is possible only if you agree to these terms.
If the User does not agree, in whole or in part, with this document, they must immediately cease using the Site.
The Site may be used for the following purposes:
a) viewing Sabon products;
b) creating a Sabon customer account;
c) saving favorite products;
d) subscribing to the newsletter;
e) reading useful information about Sabon, products, prices, stores, promotional campaigns, activities and events, causes supported by us;
f) checking product availability for online orders;
g) viewing presentations about products, beauty, care, etc.;
h) placing orders for delivery to an address in Romania or in countries where Sabon provides delivery services.
Users are NOT allowed to:
a) access or use the Site abusively;
b) use the Site in any way that causes or may cause damage or affect its performance, availability or accessibility;
c) use the Site for illegal, fraudulent or harmful purposes;
d) copy, store, host, transmit, publish or distribute materials containing viruses, spyware, Trojan horses or other harmful software;
e) carry out systematic or automated data collection without the Company’s prior written consent;
f) use Site data for direct or indirect marketing activities;
g) use Site data to contact individuals or entities.
Sabon reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, without prior notice.
Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only, and Sabon disclaims liability for inaccuracies, lack of updates or completeness.
Sabon is not liable for damages resulting from unauthorized third-party access, inability to access the Site, force majeure, actions of users or third parties, technical issues, or internet-related risks.
Hyperlinks may lead to other websites. Sabon assumes no responsibility for their content or security.
Creating hyperlinks to the Site requires Sabon’s prior written consent.
Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes tacit acceptance.
3. Distance Contract – Electronic Services
By completing the account creation form and accepting these Terms, a service provision contract is concluded between Sabon and the User upon confirmation and activation of the account.
The contract is concluded for an indefinite period.
The User may terminate the contract at any time by requesting account deletion.
Sabon may verify the User’s identity before deleting the account.
Sabon may suspend or terminate services under certain circumstances and may terminate the contract by email if the User violates these Terms, engages in illegal activities, provides false data, or infringes intellectual property rights.
Upon termination, Sabon may delete the User’s account and data.
4. Newsletter
Newsletter subscription is made via a form on the Site by entering an email address.
No user account is required.
Users may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting Customer Support.
Commercial communications are sent only based on the User’s consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
5. Purchase and Delivery of Products
Sabon undertakes to process and ship orders within a maximum of 72 hours from order confirmation, subject to stock availability, except during legal holidays or special campaigns.
Delivery times and costs vary depending on destination country.
Products are considered delivered upon handover to the courier.
Sales are intended for personal use only.
Sabon reserves the right to cancel orders suspected of resale or abuse.
Order limitations apply to prevent fraud.
6. Price
Prices are displayed in RON and include VAT.
Sabon may change prices at any time.
The final price is the one displayed at checkout and confirmed by email.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (PayU).
7. Returns / Exchanges
Products may be returned within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and packaging.
Return costs are covered by Sabon.
Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
Promotional benefits are canceled upon return.
8. Limitations
Sabon is not responsible for damages arising from third-party payment processors, technical errors, or incorrect data provided by Users.
9. Reviews and Ratings
Only registered customers who purchased and used a product may post one review per product.
Reviews must comply with content rules and applicable law.
Sabon may remove inauthentic or abusive reviews.
Reviews do not constitute medical or professional advice.
10. SABON Recycle Club Program
The program encourages recycling Sabon containers.
Members receive 1 point per container (1 point = 1 RON).
Sabon may modify program conditions or refuse points in case of abuse.
11. Copyright
All Site content is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized use is prohibited.
SABON is a registered trademark.
12. Information and Communications
Users may send communications to suport@sabon.ro, provided the content is lawful.
Submitted materials may be freely used by Sabon without compensation.
13. Final Provisions
13.1 These Terms are governed by Romanian law.
13.2 Invalid clauses do not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
13.3 Any disputes shall be settled amicably or by competent Romanian courts.
