Your February beauty shopping list
4 February 2022 Estimated time: ~2 min.
If you are still working on your shopping list of care and pampering products for this month, we have some great suggestions!
You already know that in winter it is better to use completely different cosmetics than in summer, and this is because the transition from cold to hot and lower ambient humidity are factors that can lead to dull, dry and sensitive skin.
First of all, you need gentle cleaning products, as natural as possible, without alcohol and parabens. You can replace the cleansing gel used during the summer with a formula rich in moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid.
Cleansing oil, for example, is an ideal choice! The one we suggest has natural olive oil among its ingredients because it is rich in natural oleic acid that protects, nourishes and prevents dry skin, and Jericho rose extract that moisturizes the skin.
Our skin needs exfoliation, a procedure recommended especially in the cold season, but it is recommended to choose delicate-abrasive products, so as not to further weaken the skin. Our delicate polisher created especially for the face is enriched with minerals from the Dead Sea purifies and moisturizes the skin, maintaining its natural balance.
Also, during this cold period, it is ideal to start a treatment with active substances such as pure vitamin A and vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), substances that act in depth, stimulating the production of natural collagen and restoring the skin’s youth and firmness.
The lips also need special attention in winter! Choose a super moisturizing and regenerating lip balm that includes hyaluronic acid, shea butter and jojoba oil.
In the cold season, without a rich nourishing hand cream, the skin of the hands is prone to thermal shocks and dehydrates strongly, becoming cracked, stiff and sensitive. We recommend a richly textured hand butter with an enticing scent, enriched with passion fruit oil and vitamin C.
The body and feet also need extra hydration, so after each warm shower or bath (not hot!), coat them in a moisturizing layer of cream enriched with vitamin E and Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. Put on cotton socks in the evening, in the morning you will have baby-soft heels!
Don’t forget your hair! To prevent it from drying out due to the cold, use leave-in moisturizing oils, masks and serums that protect its shine and suppleness.
