Skin night repair routine
25 October 2022 Estimated time: ~2 min.
If during the day the skin protects itself from external aggressors, at night it regenerates and sometimes needs a little help...
Beauty sleep is not a myth, because while you sleep, the skin regenerates after being exposed during the day to harmful external factors such as pollution, dust, sweat, UV radiation. During the night, various functions of the skin are activated to the maximum and that is why the skin is much more receptive to the magical ingredients in the creams and serums that we apply before sleep.
A correct evening skin routine can be composed of the following steps:
Cleansing and detoxification
Whether you wore makeup during the day or not, cleansing your skin is essential! Removing impurities and preparing the skin to receive the nutrients from cosmetics is perhaps the most important step in the care routine. You can opt for an oil that gently removes make-up and moisturizes the skin or a facial foam that cleans the skin without drying it.
After removing make-up, the facial sauna with Dead Sea salt and Damascus roses works wonders for the skin. It unclogs pores and detoxifies while providing instant relaxation via the steam bath.
Toning and moisturizing
Once the skin is perfectly cleansed, it’s time to apply a toner or a moisturizing mist in the form of an oil-infused rose water, designed to give the skin hydration and a healthy glow.
The next step is the application of a serum with natural oils that help the skin, overnight, to regenerate and regain its glow. Pomegranate, argan, sweet almond, jojoba or peach kernel oils stimulate cell regeneration and provide the skin with comfort and vitality.
The serum must be "sealed" with a moisturizing cream that helps the skin to become firm during sleep, and in the morning to have that rested, supple look that we generally enjoy after a long sleep.
