Besides the fact that it can warm us on a cold winter day or cool us on a hot summer day, tea is a noble and delicious drink, with multiple benefits for body and soul.

According to Simon Gibbons, a professor of phytochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of London, if you drink at least three cups of tea every day, you have better immunity and reduce the risk of brain tumors or stroke.

Infusions with therapeutic properties can, in fact, be obtained from any kind of plant, and once you test its benefits for the first time, you will love this type of drink-remedy. And if you don’t like coffee, you can get your dose of energy from a cup of black tea.

Speaking of coffee, if you replace it with a cup of tea, you can avoid gum disease and even cavities, because black tea protects your mouth from bacteria.

Moreover, black tea contains more theine than green tea and therefore has a stronger energizing effect, because theine has a stimulating effect, similar to caffeine. It is also rich in vitamins and minerals, has beneficial effects on the nervous system and maintains the health of the digestive system.

As for herbal infusions, you’ve probably heard the urge to drink chamomile or linden tea at least once in your life when you’ve had a bad day or experienced a migraine or insomnia.

Chamomile, the aroma of childhood

The benefits of a cup of tea, from one plant or another, are not just a placebo effect. It really works!

For example, chamomile tea is for many the aroma of childhood, because the miraculous properties of this plant are also indicated for children. And it’s not just a coincidence that most of us smile when we feel the aroma of chamomile tea. Chamomile is considered to be a medicinal plant, with a calming effect, being a handy remedy to combat stress.

Maybe you remember your childhood evenings, when you couldn’t sleep, and your mother would bring you a warm linden tea with honey, she would kiss you on the forehead, and all the problems would miraculously disappear!

The infusion of linden flowers is used especially as a sedative, because it reduces stress, chronic fatigue, treats insomnia, restless sleep and nightmares. And if it comes with a caress of the mother or loved one who prepares it for you, the good effect is guaranteed!
